Hi weasel,
My suspected diamond almost passed in all tests to be a diamond its hardness, greasy luster and 4 equal sides, trigons, lines etc but failed in density test ( its floating in methylene iodided solution), does it mean its certainly not a diamond?

Specim me goinc from 5 dollars to 9500 dollars. Most being sold for 25 dollars. Best samples have gem quality stones. Stones with full crystals were going for dollars.

Hi weasel
This is Scwdew I posted about the value of my tremolite collection from the mines in NY.  I posted pictures of what I had here in NH.  Recently moved here from NY. I plan to go back and get the rest soon. Could you advise me as to the best avenue to sell my collection and any guidance on the value would help so much.  I do know it depends on what anyone is willing to purchase it for.  Even a ballpark would help. I know the mines are closed now and no rocks like these are coming out especially Hexagonite.   Thanks in advance for your help

Yes. But
I have some questions. Where did you find the rock. I don't need gps coordinates just something like on the beach in Dover, Delaware. I would ask if the rock scratches glass. I would also ask if you can see any bubbles in it? Best way is to post a picture and let our people see this and weigh in. That will answer a bunch of questions just by allowing us to see it.

I live in Zambia- Africa, I have been excavating and looking for gemstones. One of the mines produces only these rounded and slightly cornered, reddish pink  stones. I want to know if they are of any commercial value before I can dig in large quantities
