Help me with this quartz?

0 votes

I have a mineral/ quartz I'm trying to indentify...Its green in color, and it looks like it was formed from lava like an igneous rock, but it was actually had grown on a rock because there's a white rock its sitting on and debis had become trapped in it like what sometimes happens with crystals. The reason I said it looks like it was formed like a igneous rock because it looks like a blob of green glass.

Can you take a better photo close-up? Also where did you find it? Please describe locality.

I can try...I had received it as a gift from an other local mineral/ gemstone collector, and unfortunately they didn't tell me on what it was.

It looks like it could be Epidote, although the pic is very blurry. Can you get any clearer and closer shots?
