i have found these rocks at the same place, they go from light green to dark blue color, inside they are very shiny, anyone have a clue what it may be...thanks
Some of these looks to be more of bits and pieces of meterite then any gemstone or mineral! However you can test this yourself, try placeing a magnet to them as one test. Because meterites contain certain metal(s) in them; either iron or nickel or they can even contain both. The magnet won't cling to nickel, but it certainly will to the iron.
wow, thanks i did the magnet test it works, thanks a lot,i just have to find out, what kind of a meteorit it is,but unfortunatly i cant find anyithing related on the internet to these..thanks once more..appriciate it
These look like slag. Its man-made, from post-mining operations. If its attracted to magnetic fields its slag with iron in it.
Your Welcome :3 ...No, hershel its not man-made, maybe space-made though. I know this because as a child I had found a meteorite thinking it was a fossil, do to the iron melted inside of it; showing up on the surface of the stone. It looked like a skull to me back then. And lucky that my father was watching a meteorite program on the Discovery Channel he had found out what I had found. So by experience I know that's not man-made.
