This is a stone given to me and we are trying to figure out what it is

The base looks like gypsum or barite (desert rose). Not sure what the silver crystals on it are though, possibly pyrite or another type of sulfide. Very pretty stones though ; would look great in a display case. (:

It’s not silver it’s actualy like a brown clear crystal the silver your sewing is it’s shimmer/reflection any guess on that stone??
they are likely barite crystals then.

Barite is definitely the correct answer as many have suggested here, but they have a coating of what looks like Vanadinite, most likely from Mibladen, Morocco.
