rock found in central Australia.

190 carats, approx. 1inch (25mm), fully opaque, slightly magnetic.

Thanks for your answer .. My own thoughts given where it was found and surrounding material is similar to your own in that I think its meteor related glass.. a rather unusual Tektite the photos haven't transferred all that well the top has clearly been molten and bubbling while the bottom has clearly been flattened while still molten, the sides showing streaking from air movement, it has gold rings imbedded around the streaked glass that shine through brightly under lights ...Interested if others agree
