When you submit photos, please put in a common coin or a ruler so the size can be estimated. You also do not mention a test for hardness. Scratch it with a common nail, a piece of quartz or corundum if you have it. That will give you an idea of hardness. The chart I sent you should help you eliminate some possibilities.

I used diamond blade to buff the surface of the mineral and scratched with a natural ruby,  there is no scratch in it and the same was viewed with a triplet loupe.  But,  the place where, i didnt do the buffing is getting scratched.  What could be the reason?
Could be some of the matriz is still attached to the rock.
