Mario, does your rock scratch easily? If another rock scratches it or you can scratch it with a nail, then the rock might be a salt of some type. If it does not, it could be a piece of quartz. Quartz is very hard and will not mark easily. If you were able to chip a small piece off it might form a conchoidal fracture, which is a concave divot. A softer rock will crack.

probably quartz part type of calcedon with iron oxid in color. wery hard
