Where did you find it? Does it have any actual crystal outline shapes?

Found in a huge field in central Ohio. No crystals. A bit heavy for its size and very hard. Cuts glass. Any ideas?

Will it get cut by glass? Was there any more of it there? Any way to test the hardness?

Glass did not cut it. Only one like it &I looked about a mile wide.

Any way that you can test the hardness?

answered May 9, 2013 by hershel (52,800 points)

I wouldn't know how or where to take it. But I have tried to scratch it with a nail and it doesn't scratch it. Any clues?
