I have a large rock (25?lbs?) from California that I hink might be Pink Tourmaline, how can I find out what it is worth?

Take it to a lapidary, they cut rocks, gems and such, they should know. There is just so much we could tell you and it would all be conjecture. The lapidary would be able to tell you how much it is worth, how much after cutting it will be gem quality, the best way to cut it. All that because of his specific knowledge and being able to examine it in person.
