Personal preference. Aesthetically, I leave most specimens alone and display naturally. Cutting and polishing may improve your specimen's value and appearance. You must choose for yourself.

do you know the type of stone this could be ?
Looks like typical quartz. Doesn't look it has much cutting value either.
