What is the Chemical Formula for Chalcedony + Peruvian Opal, combined?

0 votes

I know Chalcedony's chemical formula is SiO2, but I don't know Peruvian Opal's, or what they make when combined. I would love it if anyone is able to tell me any and everything regarding this subject.

Opal is generally hydrated silica SiO2*(H2O) with some other stuff in there. For the most part though, both of those are silica rich
