Is "fire amethyst" known as something else? I can't find any information.

I bought this neat looking piece the store called Fire Amethyst. I had never heard of it before but didn't think much of it. After Googling it to learn more, nothing really comes up. Is it better known as another name? Does it even occur naturally? I really hope it isn't synthetic...

Looks like rosy Quartz, white Quartz and purple Quartz. I believe the term fire Amethyst is a marketing ploy. Never heard it before and I cannot find it on the Internet.

Thank you. Is it even possible for three types of quartz to blend like that to make a new crystal?
yes, amethyst usually forms in sync with white quartz, and occasionally also has color zoning with other colors.
