I found a very large quartz ROCK yesterday. Can anyone help identify it and possibly tell me the value of it?

Quartz is silica and silica is literally the most common substance on earth. It is worth whatever someone will pay. Normally the color and clarity would indicate value. Yours is the most common color and has no clarity. Still a large stone is maybe more valuable to an artisan wishing to shape something. Still neat. I bet it weighs eighty LB's.

It is quite heavy and I have only cleaned it with soap. I am far from being knowledgeable about stones but I do think this is a good find! I have looked at all the different colors on line and I can't decide which describes this one the best.
It is yellow Quartz. Most often the Quartz I have is stained by other minerals. Yours seems to be not stained. I think it is a great piece.
