Can anyone identify this?

I am trying to identify what's inside this geode.  It is mostly a matte light blue with slight crystals.  It doesn't have the bands that I've seen in agates except around the outer edge.  Any information will be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

Well you can see agate layers around the edge, I would guess chalcedony, agate and Quartz.

That's a nice agate nodule! Did you find this piece?

I got it at a yard sale but didn't think to ask where they found it.

its always import to get full information on any mineral that you purchase. Obviously the most important information is the locality, and this should be supplied with a label. Provenance such as when it was found, previous collections, etc. are also good information to be provided with any mineral purchase.
