From the color it looks like it could be fluorite. Maybe hiddenite. I'm not certain, hope this helped!

Thank you for the answer but fluorite is too soft to be faceted as such, besides the stone I asked about is hard enough that it cuts glass.  Also not hiddenite (I wish it was!) because it is definitely blue-green. Im still baffled by this one!

Its definitely not hiddenite and likely not fluorite either. Perhaps its an include quartz or low-grade aquamarine. Its very hard to making a better determination without knowing its hardness.
