I'm going to say, "No!". I will check it out and edit this if need be. New magnets developed called rare earth magnets have shown some negligible magnetism but no ordinary magnet will attract an emerald to any degree.

Correct. Neither Emerald or any beryl is magnetic nor attracted to magnetic fields.
