How do I remove fungus looking marks from chalcedony stone (ring)

0 votes

I have a large pale blue/grey chalcedony ring (in silver) it has what looks like fungus/mold type stains in

the actual stone.  I've tried absolutely everything apart from trying to dig it out with a sharp object - which I  don't want to do as it will ruin it, nothing will even fade it.  Its one of my favourite rings, I can't wear it that much anymore due to the awful looking spots all around the edge where the silver starts.  Love to get any help you can offer.

Those might be inclusions; by your description I would say some moss agate...
