I have a very old chunk of what has streak tested out as platinum. It is heavy, dense, dusty steel grey and is 1/2" to 3/4 " rectangle cubes , There is sparse dusting of yellow gold on it. Where should I sell it ? That is if I have identified it correctly.

Unless you have it positively identified or can provide specimen provenance such as locality information its going to be difficult to determine it as being platinum. The likelihood of it being platinum is probably very low, since any collector who find platinum in platinum-bearing localities has a knowledge and keeps a record of it.

Thank you for your answer... I completely understand your sentiment. Yes you would think someone who collects specimens would categorize and label that which took years to collect. A good deal of this collection was labeled, tons more was not.   Truthfully I have carried this particular piece for years with no clue as what it might be. I pick up heavy rocks in search of meteorites and have done this probably form grammar school. Many, many years ago.  You would think it should lead, as did I. Lead sinkers dissolve in a streak test on the same mat. I can tell you this sample would be from Russia and from a very long time ago. If it is platinum that  would be the only area it could come from. Hershel if you knew you had mineral specimen such a what I am hoping I have... What would you do with it? (I understand it may still be lead)
Can you please post some photos of it?
Yes I will. I have it put away but I try to remember to get it out tomorrow and post. We just got home and it is late. Thank you for attention to my question.

For the life of me I can find "image" on a tool bar anywhere. Where will I find a tool bar that will allow me to add photos? Thank you
