Liquid Mercury disposal location

0 votes

My father, recently deceased, was an electronic nut, inventor, educator... Found among the many items in his workshop is a coffee can of liquid mercury. I would like to sell it but do not know where to contact and if it can't be sold I need to get it somewhere to recycle. I don't know much about chemicals but research indicates it is high toxic and can be dangerous. Any help?
