Aquamarine science project

I am doing a report for school on aquamarine. I was wondering how it was mined because I looked on a lot of different places but they all said something different.

Aquamarine is a type of beryl and is most often mined in pegmatite deposits. Every deposit is mined differently: some are underground mines where the aquamarine is mined in tunnels, others are quarries on the side of mountains, and others are larger pits where they are dug in the ground.
