Help me ID this highly florescent bead Please!!

0 votes

Hi! First I just wanted to say what a great site this is!! My question is I need help Iding, this bead that a friend gave me. When you first look at it it looks like turquoise with pyrite with some white and yellow in it. If I hold it for a while it seems to lose its shine, but with a quick rub on my Levis the shine comes back. It's greasy to the touch. It streaks white (or very light blue) but if I streak it elseware it's grey from the pyrite or silver. What really caught my eye is out of my large collection of raw minerals and gemstones this stone floresces a strong white/blue! I have photos of it in both lights that I'm sending with my question! Thanks so much for your help! Nan DCSF1391
