I have several minerals I need help identifying. Would anyone be able to help me just by seeing photos? If so please email me and I'll reply with photos! [email protected]
You can add your photos here using the photo upload option. Please only do one at a time though, and provide some additional details such as location, environment, and any other properties to accompany the photo.
All I have I'm not sure where they came from. My great grandma gave them to me years ago, she did travel to Colorado a lot. This mineral is like a cloudy white, clear at the tip and very smooth
This one is smooth with sharp edge . Its a cloudy light aqua green
This one has like milky crystals, it looks kinda pink in pic but its not
Very smooth and solid, greenish color running thru it
Very large and smooth, always cloudy milky color I'm not sure if its the same as the first I posted
Rough, solid white
A lot of small crystals
Pictures 1,3,5,6, and 7 are all quartz crystals. #2 can be the uncrystallized underside of a quartz crystal, or chalcedony or opal. Not sure about #4.
Itend to agree Hershel. Maybe some data about where you found them will help us identify 2 and 4.
