gold canyon turquoise

0 votes

Hello...I have seen pictures of what, to me, is turquoise from a new source. Can anyone tell me more about what is being called "Gold Canyon" turquoise? I have heard that it is Chinese and also that it comes from the AZ/Mex border. Thanks, Confused Kate

I have never heard of this description for turquose - sounds like a marketing gimmick. I did a Google search for the term and the results all pulled up a company called Philip Zachary Turquoise and Silver Gallery, where he describes these as turquoise originating "just south of the Arizona/Mexican border". http://www.turquoise.org/Gold_Canyon_jewelry.html
