Sapphire specimens from north carolina any thoughts?

Hey guys im putting up some images of two of my best specimens...would like your thoughts! The more circular one is 14 carats and the pitted one is 34 carats.alt text

Looks more like ruby than sapphire, though you'd be entirely safe by calling it corundum. Nice examples from North Carolina though.
