Imperial topaz...what do yall think?

Hey guys i got a beautiful 5 carat piece of imperial topaz. The crystal pattern is odd and irregular. No fractures in the stone and the transparency is also spectacular. Under a powerful binocular microscope you can see the growth pattern and the layers of growth.alt text

Its pretty cool. Do you have proof that its real? If it is its probably worth a lot of money. :)

Looks like a great topaz. A real good lapidary might be able to recommend how to cut it for jewelers or personal jewelry. Really is beautiful. I assume you will lose some karat weight when it is cut. Gem wizard prices them around 2000+ for a 3.5 kt. Weight imperial topaz
