i have two unidentified rocks would like help!!!-please!-

i have aquired two rocks that i can not identify.. one is a green, purple, and whiteish-tan quartz looking rock/ meneral with gold flakes.. and the other brown tan all kinds of dark colored swirls with rough sand paper feel.. weighs about 6-8 lbs (not magnetic!!) found in south texas. if anyone knows of theese rocks or has any means to get more info i would like to hear ANY suggestios...

The top photo is blurry, but those shiny flakes look like mica and the associate mineral quartz. Perhaps a pegmatite with that combination.

The second one is almost certainly a microcrystalline quartz type, and based on its color can be classified as flint or onyx etc.

If I remember correctly mica can be a green color but the purple I am not to sure of unless its an amethyst color coming from the quartz. If the green isn't a sheet or llamenar form then I am unsure of what it may be based off just looking at the picture.
