Can Turquoise ever be naturally occurring in a pruple color?

0 votes

How can I find out if turquoise is ever naturally occurring in a purple color Specimens that I've seen many seem to have copper running through them. I'm thinking that it's dyed and that blue/green are the only naturally occurring colors for this stone - is that correct? I'm being told it is natural but am skeptical

I have never heard of purple turquoise. It can range in different shades of blue to green, but purple seems like a fake to me.
