Is Magnesite worth mining?

0 votes

There are some Magnesite claims in Zimbabwe that I would like to explore. However, I am not really familiar with this mineral and would like to know whether it has an economic value to warrant further exploration. The claims have data going back to the 50s. Your expect advise will be most welcome.

Magnesite is used an ore of magnesium, so it has industrial value when in rich deposits. Its economic value really depends on the richness of the material and availability to mine it on a large scale.
