New rock found near riverbed. Needs identification.

I found a nice piece of pink to yellow and white crystals on a cluster at a nearby river. I’m wondering what it might be. My first thought are quartz with hematite which makes it look pink.

Well, staining comes from trace minerals like iron which would give it a pinkish cast. The yellowish cast might come from limonite another iron derivative.
