Interesting but confusing

GIA released trigon on diamond looks like tectonic plates of earth and the same trigons are seen on the microscopic examination on my suspected diamond(second pic) the weird thing is you can see the core of the earth is bisected in to three parts and the same can be seen on my trigon picture. Are these types of trigons are common in other minerals?
