Rock identification

Hi! About a year ago i found this weird rock. It's non magnetic and the holes in it goes straight through.

Your rock looks like it has a host rock. In other words the inner rock looks to have formed inside an outer rock formation. You have porous rock into which a mineral solution leaks. It solidifies into a crystal or a simple silica like chalcedony... Does the exposed inner rock have a waxy feel. Real smooth?
