What is this rock?

I was on my front porch and didnt see this earlier in the day.  I noticed it the 2nd time I was outside, and it was literally right beside my porch and I have no idea where it came from, or what it is.

Where did you find it, or more clearly, geographically where is your porch? Is it possible it rolled down a hill and came to rest there? Please place a common item near it like a quarter or a tape measure or a ruler

There is no hill, and it was in a corner. I could post a photo of that too i suppose. Either someone placed it there, or it rolled off the top of the house I would imagine. Going to see if I can add another picture to the original post.

It looks like a normal metamorphic rock to me... My guess is that it broke out of it's host rock.
