Please help me to identify this rough stone

0 votes

I've found this stone when I was on a hike trip yesterday. Can anyone please help me to inform the name of this stone?

Could be quartz crystal.

Looks a bit like a thunder egg/geode. Probably opal, agate, or some kind of crude quartz.

I don't see the thunder egg assertion, but there seems to be an agatized rind of small crystalline quartz with (what seems to be) a chalcedony core. So without any additional provided information, I would say its a quartz/chalcedony combination piece. I'd suggest you search for more, perhaps you'll make some nice interesting finds.
