My Dad has a large flourite rock solid yellow and clear about 15 lbs...looks like glass... worth anything?

Hard to say. Flourite has some luminescence and it will glow in the dark after it is irradiated by light. It may change colors. People pay for specimens but flourite is fairly common.

It really depends on the quality of the crystals, transparency, locality, formation, etc. Without observing it or even seeing a picture it would be almost impossible to tell.
