That should help, but feldspar is very common and I think you would have trouble finding a first description.

Orthoclase is a mineral that has been around since ancient times. More modern scientific study has broken down the various feldspars into othroclose, microcline, the plagioclase feldspars, etc., but feldspars have been around since ancient times and an attribution of their discovery would not be possible.
