What is meant by "Specimen Grade"?

+2 votes
I noticed this under pictures of the Anorthoclase Feldspar page, specifically the two Erebus Crystals.  The two images are called out as being "Specimen Grade C".

Could you define what Specimen Grades exist and what the criteria are for each?

For example, is there an A, B, C, D etc.?

For what is is worth specimen grades may differ and may refer to different things in different minerals. I suggest asking the seller to explain why it is graded the way it is. He may know. Follow up with a google search, which, may tell you more. The question is too general to be applicable.
