Does this antique ruby estate ring have significant value?

0 votes

This ring was purchased in Singapore in 1952 . It has an 18k gold setting, and the stone is 16.5mm x 14.5mm, and about 5mm thick. The picture doesn't do it much justice, but I am wondering if this may be worth something?

We cannot assess a value on jewelry or mineral specimens. You can easily get it assessed at a jewelry store. It certainly looks to be exquisite. There are far too many things affecting vale that cannot be assessed from a photo including but not limited to clarity, inclusions damage and such. It may not be a goldmine but I would run out immediately just to get the answer.
