What type of stone/mineral is this mask carving?

I found this mask at an Estate sale. and have no clue the type of stone?

Any Ideas? The side has like a lined wood grain kinda all the way around the edges. I was told by a few people could be Jade or Ivory or Onyx but I want to know a specific type if it is even any of those.... ANY IDEAS GUYS?

About 1 inch thick

10 inches high

8 inches horizontal

White and yellowish..

Layers are confusing and indicate agate. Agate is found with other host rock so the carving could be in the host rock.

The banding in the first picture would indicate some sort of agate or banded travertine. The habit appears more like travertine, but an acid test could prove it.
