Is sodalite with rhodochrosite inclusions real/natural?

0 votes
Recently I've seen dealers selling sodalite with rhodochrosite inclusions. Is that a thing or are they dying sodalite's veins to look like rhodochrosite?

Yes, it is possible. Sodalite is a blue crystal. Word of a fraud perpetrated like that would spread quickly. I could find no mention of it.

If you have indeed seen some of this, can you please take pictures and post to this forum? Also please let us know the name of the dealer so we can look into it. Thanks.
