Hello, I recently stumbled upon a large chunk (~50lbs) of Arizona yellow/red banded jasper. The face I'd like to display is rough and has some deep crevices. It's not going to be feasible to polish this one. I'm considering a couple of options to improve the color when it's displayed inside: mineral oil, silicone spray, or the Home Depot approach which would be a commercial stone penetrating sealer/enhancer. I'm concerned about the tendency of mineral oil to attract dust, but it seems like the lowest-impact approach. Any recommendations for product and method of application? It's a big hunk of rock, so dipping it in a solution might get expensive... Thanks in advance.
