I have a RUBY necklace that blends red color , is this normal ?

If you own a real ruby necklace like that, that would be unbelievable. There are over 150 rubies in each strand And I count eight strands. 1200 rubies in one necklace, hardly credible, and they appear to be threaded not set. In my opinion, you would have a very nice costume jewelry piece.

If the clasp is solid 14k gold then there is a chance that the rubies are natural opaque rubies from Thiland based on the purple/red hue of the rubies on the lower part of the necklace.
