where can you find olivine in the world whats areas .

In the US, it is found in Hawaii and New Mexico. Volcanic activity seems to be a prerequisite. It was mined in Egypt and the Europeans call it peridot. The Romans brought the stone to Europe. There are no commercial mines but rocks can be gathered at some NM sites. It is a simple search, just type in where is olivine found.
