Help Identifying Shiny Speckled Stone

0 votes

I bought one of those stone refill kits for the Rock Tumbler they sell at Hobby Lobby a LONG time ago and these (see photo) were among the stones when tumbled and finished.

Can anyone tell me what they are? My friend suggested Sunstone but the google images look nothing like these!

Any ideas are appreciated! Thank you! ~K

It is called Goldstone. It is not natural, it is a synthetic stone. You can also get Goldstone in a dark blue colour as well. Hope that helps.

You're absolutely right! I kept remembering SUNstone but I already HAVE Blue Goldstone and it looks similar although still rough (unpolished). Nice! Thanks for your help!

Here's the blue version. They are pretty but are man made. ;)
