What to use?

0 votes

I am wanting to make a wooden ring with some sort of stone, mineral or jem. But I do not have any knowledge of stone, mineral or jem. I am wanting to use fin grains or nearly dust of stone, mineral or jem. Am I better of buying a stone, mineral or jem and crushing them or would it sacrilegious to do this? Any advice please?

I assume you could buy some dust from any lapidary working with the stone of your choice.
