Is this turquoise?

0 votes

Gem dealer said yes. Still not sure. Size is 2x2x1 inches and heavy. Found in dry wash near KOFA NWR north of Yuma. If it is she's a beaut. I will definitely polish it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, its possible for it to be turquoise, may also be chrysocolla. I would suggest you take it to a professional mineral dealer or send it in to a lab to be positively identified. If you live in Arizona you can also visit the Tucson show where many experts presents may be able to help you.
