Hi folks, I am new to this site, so please bear with me whilst I acquaint my self with you guys. I have a question or two to ask about various PRECIOUS METAL soil samples i am currently panning(as an amateur gold prospector).

These samples come from PayDirt that originates from a gold mine in Scotland. I have already isolated most of the gold particles/flakes and some of the silver etc. but I AM confused about some of the other darker shaded minerals/metals. Can someone help me ID them please? strong text Thank you in advance and keep up the good work(and knowledge) - that this site offers!

Hard to tell from the photos as they are very blurry. There definitely does seem to be some quartz there, as well as some garnet in feldspar or something like that.

Its still hard to tell from such small samples, but the soil samples that seem to be present are quartz and possibly feldspar.
