Pink mineral or gemstone.

Hi, I just joined. I have a pink pearly scaley mineral or gemstone. I've had it for years but have no idea what it is. I have pictures but it's telling me the file is too big.

Can you post a clearer picture? It does like it may be mammilary hematite. Is it heavy and metallic-looking? Try scratching it with the unglazed part of a tile and see if it has a red streak.

Maybe these will be clearer. No, it doesn't seem heavy or metallic.

Picture still small, but looks most like rounded mica such as lepidolite.

Does it looks similar to the 4th picture on this page? http://www.minerals.net/mineral/lepidolite.aspx

If so then its most likely Brazilian Lepidolite.
