I need help identifying this very large sphere.

No, i do not know if it is natural. i have found large spheres that are fiber optics. But this piece has a chatoyant center ring. And the dark outer edges it has lines similar to agate

Thanks for the better pics. Still hard to tell without seeing it in person, though if i had to guess something natural i would guess fluorite. It could still be glass or some other synthetic material though...

It looks like polished Malachite, if so then its worth quite a bit due to its size.
