Can Someone Identify These?

0 votes

alt textHello, this necklace was passed down from a grandparent years ago. The 'beads' are strung like a typical strand of knotted pearls. The clasp is 14K gold, and although each is different, they look very similar in nature. Some are tan, some are more brown. They are very shiny--almost a glassy finish. They don't appear to be made of glass because one has a worn spot around a hairline chip, and what is underneath is not glassy. I saw a video of a melo on YouTube by a renowned gemologist, and these look similar, although I seriously doubt they're melo pearls. Any help/answers you can give will be much appreciated. Thank you!
