Is that durt on the stone?

If so, try to brush it of gently with a small paintbrush. Or a small towel. Do not use water as we don't know what it is.

But my first hunch: amethyst.

Yes, it's dirt. I took your advice and brushed it off as much as I could off. I don't know if will help much. I will post a pic

When you hold it a light it's orange in color on the inside.

Wonderful.

But I still think it is (pink) amethyst. But the right side does not look like amethyst.

How transparent is the stone and what the outside color? Purple, pink, orange?

When you hold it to a light it's orange inside. The outside is pink and purple

This looks like the same material you posted in that other post. I think this is glass, just like the other one. Can you please describe where and how it was found?
